Terms of Use

Habitum is a routine and habit tracker from Luis Suárez, who operates under the name Luewell (“Luewell,” “we,” “us”). These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Luewell governing your use of the Habitum app. By downloading or using Habitum, you agree to these Terms.

1. License to use Habitum

Subject to these Terms, Luewell grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Habitum on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

2. Free tier and premium features

Habitum is free to download and use for tracking your routines and habits. Some features are offered as “premium” and require a purchase to unlock — for example iCloud sync across devices, advanced statistics, and additional personalization. The specific features included with premium may change over time as the app evolves.

3. Subscriptions, Lifetime purchase, and billing

Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription (billed monthly or yearly) or as a one-time “Lifetime” purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID; prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription automatically renews for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your device’s App Store settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. A one-time Lifetime purchase does not renew.

Refunds are handled by Apple according to the App Store terms; Luewell cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Habitum only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it — for example by interfering with its normal operation, attempting to access it in unauthorized ways, or using it in a manner that infringes the rights of others. Habitum is a self-improvement tool and is not a medical device; it does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice.

5. Your content and data

The routines, habits, and other content you create in Habitum are yours. They are stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your own iCloud account. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

Habitum, its name, design, and software are owned by Luewell and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to Luewell’s trademarks or branding.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Habitum is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will always be preserved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luewell will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of Habitum. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Apple’s role

Habitum is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. This agreement is between you and Luewell only. Apple’s standard App Store terms also apply to your download and use of the app.

10. Termination

These Terms apply while you use Habitum. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of Habitum after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
