Privacy Policy

Habitum is a routine and habit tracker from Luis Suárez, who operates under the name Luewell (“Luewell,” “we,” “us”). It is private by design: you don’t need an account, and your routines, habits, and progress stay on your device. This policy explains what limited information Habitum processes and how it is handled.

1. Information we process

Habitum works without an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any profile information. The content you create — your routines, habits, categories, completion history, streaks, reminders, and app settings — is stored only on your device. We do not run servers that store this data.

2. iCloud sync

If you enable iCloud sync (a premium feature), your Habitum data is synchronized through your own Apple iCloud account so it stays consistent across your devices. This data is handled by Apple under your iCloud account and Apple’s terms — Luewell has no servers involved and never receives or sees it. You can turn iCloud sync off at any time, and it is off unless you enable it.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

Habitum is free to use, with an optional premium upgrade (a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase) that unlocks additional features. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; Luewell never receives your payment card or Apple ID. To determine your premium access, we use the subscription management service RevenueCat.

RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app user identifier and the purchase information needed to determine your access (which plan you bought, and your subscription status). It does not receive your name, and this information is used only to operate and validate your purchases.

4. Notifications

If you allow notifications, Habitum schedules reminders for your routines and habits locally on your device. These reminders are generated on-device and are not sent through our servers.

5. What we don’t do

• We do not show advertising.
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell your data to data brokers.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data lives on your device; uninstalling Habitum removes it from that device. If you enabled iCloud sync, you can manage or delete that data from your iCloud settings. Purchase information is retained while the RevenueCat record linked to your device remains active. You can view, change, or cancel a subscription at any time in your device’s App Store settings.

7. Children’s privacy

Habitum is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
