Privacy Policy

Charades is a party and family game from Luis Suárez, who operates under the name Luewell (“Luewell,” “we,” “us”). It is private by design: you don’t need an account, and your game preferences stay on your device. This policy explains what limited information Charades processes and how it is handled.

1. Information we process

Charades works without an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any profile information. Your game preferences — such as selected categories, sound and timer settings, favorites, and game history — are stored only on your device. We do not run servers that store this data.

2. Subscriptions and purchases

Charades is a subscription app: it starts with a 7-day free trial, and a subscription is required to keep using the app after the trial ends. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; Luewell never receives your payment card or Apple ID. To manage your subscription status, we use the subscription management service RevenueCat.

RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous app user identifier and the purchase information needed to determine your access (which plan you bought, and your trial and subscription status). It does not receive your name, and this information is used only to operate and validate your subscription.

3. What we don’t do

• We do not show advertising.
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell your data to data brokers.

4. Data retention and deletion

Your game preferences live on your device; uninstalling Charades removes them from that device. Subscription information is retained while the RevenueCat record linked to your device remains active. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s App Store settings.

5. Children’s privacy

Charades is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Some content categories may not be appropriate for all ages, so adult supervision is recommended.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
